Spring officially begins on Wednesday and most of us are probably ready for some 70 and 80 degree temperatures.  If you fall in that camp, it looks like you're going to have to wait a little longer.

There's a chance for snow to impact the region beginning Thursday.  I do think it's possible for some areas in the Ozarks to pick up 1-3 inches of snow, but we'll also see a wintry mix for most of the area.

There will be a very tight gradient on the northern and southern edges of the snowpack as drier air cuts off moisture in the north and wamer temperatures allow the change over to rain in the south.

While these spring-time winter storms are difficult to forecast, the one thing for certain is temperatures are going to remain below average into next week.
