Officers seek suspect in Bocomo Bay robbery

COLUMBIA, MO. -- The Columbia Police Department is looking for a suspect in a robbery Saturday evening.

Officers responded to a robbery at Bocomo Bay, 1122 Wilkes Blvd., at 5:55 p.m.

Investigation revealed that a man entered the store to buy something, and then went behind the counter and put a hard object to the clerk's back.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot heading north.

Police are seeking a black male, 30 to 40 years old, 5'7" with a "stocky build." He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
