An Alberta Clipper will streak through the Midwest late Monday bringing a chance of minor snow accumulations to Mid-Missouri.  The Show-Me State will likely see rain showers heading into Monday night.  As temperatures fall below freezing overnight, a changeover to light snow is expected.

With Missouri being on the south side of the storm track, accumulations will be quite light.  Most of the area will pick up a dusting to half an inch of snow. Some in the northeastern parts of the viewing area (Audrain, Montgomery Counties) may see closer to two inches. Any possible accumulations should come to an end Tuesday morning, with flurries lasting into the afternoon.
