PULASKI COUNTY, MO. -- A Glencoe man is facing multiple charges after threatening employees of the Oasis Truck Plaza in Richland early Sunday Morning.

The 55-year-old man was arrested after a brief standoff with deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities were called to the Truck Plaza at 3:34 a.m. Sunday. A 911 call said the man had become violent and was making threatening statements to employees after attempting to sell ammunition and being denied.

Employees were able to secure themselves inside when the man left the building, possibly to get a weapon.

When deputies arrived they found the man inside his vehicle with multiple firearms. He was taken into custody after a brief standoff and was transported to Pulaski County Jail.

Authorities are witholding his identity pending formal charges.
