The Jefferson City Animal Shelter will temporarily change its hours while undergoing renovations.

Starting Friday, February 15, shelter hours will be from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

This change in hours is expected to last about four weeks while crews replace flooring and work within the kennels. There was a warranty issue with the flooring, so the city is working with the contractor to look at the replacement.

Normal adoption hours will resume after the renovation is complete.
