With spring-like temperatures, come spring-like rain chances. Rain showers will spread across Mid-Missouri Thursday morning and afternoon.  While there may be some heavy downpours and rumbles of thunder, severe weather will not be a factor throughout the day.  Despite the rain, temperatures should still break into the 50s before cooling down thanks to a cold front Thursday night. As skies clear, lows will fall into the 20s.

Looking ahead to the weekend - temperatures will rebound to the 50s for both Saturday and Sunday.  Moisture will increase late Saturday and collide with an approaching cold front. A few showers may be possible that night, a better chance for showers and thunderstorms will exist on Sunday.  Once the front passes, temperatures will fall to the 40s for the next workweek.
