Mid-Missouri saw some of the coldest temperatures of the season Friday morning. Thanks to a cold front that swept through the area Thursday, temperatures fell into the single digits early Friday with wind chills below zero.  Fortunately, sunshine for the first half of Friday will make outside conditions feel somewhat tolerable.  Late day clouds will help prevent lows from falling quite as drastically for Saturday morning.

High pressure will traverse the Show-Me State and help send in winds from the south. This will lead to warmer temperatures for the weekend in the 40s. Temperatures will then jump to the 50s to start the next workweek.  After a series of disturbances swing through the state, temperatures will settle into the 40s for much of next week.  The next chance of rain comes on Thursday.
