Columbia fire crews responded early Friday morning to a fire on Kipling Way.

A lightnight strike is to blame for the fire, which caused some minor damage to the apartment.

Fire crews told us that the damage won't take long to fix and that the home owners will be able to move back in soon.

No one was injured during the fire.

More details will be made available later Friday morning.
