Downtown Jefferson City intersection to be closed overnight

Crews are working overnight to spare traffic hassles downtown.
Jefferson City Public Works is doing some overnight work at the intersection of Jefferson Street and High Street.
Starting Tuesday, December 18, at 6 pm, the Missouri American Water Company will work overnight to complete some utility work.
The work should be done by 8 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area during that time.
