COLUMBIA, MO -- Missouri's Grant Ressel is the Big 12 special teams player of the week after kicking the game-winning field goal to cap a perfect day against border rival Kansas.

The sophomore from Jackson, Missouri, was 4 for 4 on field goals from 43, 28, 37 and 27 yards in the Tigers' regular-season finale.

The game-winning kick in a come-from-behind 41-39 victory was Missouri's first since 1972.

Ressel won the kicking job during preseason drills and has missed only one of 25 field goal opportunities on the season while hitting all 38 extra-point tries.

His 96-percent accuracy on field goals leads the nation among those with 11 or more made kicks. He leads the Big 12 and ranks third in NCAA with an average of two field goals per game.
