Chargers rip Raiders Thursday night

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- The Denver Broncos will have to wait at least another week to wrap up the AFC West title.
 
Phillip Rivers passed for 214 yards and three touchdowns as San Diego ripped Oakland 34-7 Thursday night, denying the Broncos the possibility of clinching their division on Sunday.
 
Rivers hit Darren Sproles for a pair of TDs and connected with Vincent Jackson on a 59-yard scoring play. Jackson had five receptions for 148 yards to help the Chargers end a three-game skid and improve to 5-and-8.
 
San Diego's defense blanked the Raiders, whose only scoring came on Justin Miller's 92-yard kickoff return just before halftime.
 
Raiders quarterback Jamarcus Russell was intercepted twice and lost a fumble before leaving the game with an ankle injury.
