The NCAA is expected to charge Missouri basketball coach Frank Haith with unethical conduct and failure to promote an atmosphere of compliance, according to a CBSSports.com report.
The report states the NCAA believes that payments to Haith's assistants intended for basketball camps ended up going to Miami booster Nevin Shapiro, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for a $930 million Ponzi scheme.
The charge of failure to promote an atmoshpere of compliance stems from impermissible airline travel given to the family of two players, as well as interaction between Shapiro and players while on recruiting visits.
According to the CBSSports.com report, Haith could receive a multiple-year show-cause penalty, which means any penalites the NCAA imposes on Haith for his conduct at Miami would continue to be enforced during his time at Missouri.
The notice of allegations could be released as early as tomorrow. Haith would have 90 days to respond in writing before a hearing in front of the Committee on Infractions.
