Missouri return man Marcus Murphy was named the SEC special teams player of the week on Monday.

Murphy became the first player in Missouri history to return two punts for touchdowns in the same game. Murphy scored on a 70-yard punt return in the third quarter against Southeastern Louisiana, then added a 72-yard punt return for a score in the fourth quarter.

Murphy also set a school record with 180 yards on five punt returns.
