Raymond Felton scored 25 points for the Bobcats, who entered with a 12-and-22 record. D.J. Augustin provided 11 of his 20 points in the extra session, including a three-pointer and two free throws during a 7-0 run.

Paul Pierce had a game-high 28 points for the Celtics, who led 79-72 entering the fourth quarter.
