COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Freshman Stefan Jankovic poured in 20 points to lead Missouri to an easy 86-60 win over Missouri Southern in their exhibition finale on Sunday.

Jankovic hit 8-of-13 shots from the field, including three three-pointers. Fellow freshman Negus Webster-Chan added 14 points. Webster-Chan started in place of Keion Bell, who missed the game with an illness.

Missouri led by just nine at half at 42-33, but the Tigers opened the second half on a 21-4 run to put the game away.

"I thought we were a little bit too cool to start the game," Missouri coach Frank Haith said. "But we were very intent in the second half. We played much better in transition and made better decisions."

Tony Criswell scored 13 points for the Tigers, while Laurence Bowers added 11 and Earnest Ross scored 10.

Missouri opens the regular season on Saturday, November 10 against SIU-Edwardsville. Game time is 4:00 at Mizzou Arena.
