Five career center locations closing in April

The Missouri Division of Workforce Development will close five career centers on April 30th.

The centers closing are in Caruthersville, Mexico, Moberly, Monett and Warrensburg.

Eight staff members will be without jobs, including one in Mexico and three in Moberly.

State officials said the closings are the result of a cut in federal funding.
