JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- Seven people were arrested Tuesday when authorities executed four drug-related search warrants.

Three of the search warrants were served at lots 5, 7 and 32 of Twin Bridges Trailer park, located at 5605 Heritage Highway.

Two dogs became aggressive during the fourth search at 4238 Crim Lane. A taser and bean bag round were used to subdue the animals, without causing permanent damage.

The seven people arrested were taken to the Cole County Jail, pending charges that include possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. A couple of the individuals also had active warrants.

One minor was found and turned over to the Division of Family Services.

The search warrants, which were the result of an on-going investigation by the MUSTANG drug task force, Cole County Sheriff’s Department and the Jefferson City Police Department, were carried out by Cole County SWAT, JCPD SWAT and MSHP SWAT, with help from the Missouri National Guard Counterdrug Task Force.
