Mid-Missouri will experience the passing of several cold fronts for the first full week in February, but also enjoy warmer than normal temperatures.  Monday will start with temperatures ranging from the 20s to the north to the 50s down south. A front will sweep through during the afternoon causing temperatures to fall into the evening and night.  The rest of the week will feature highs topping out near 50 degrees for every single day, nearly 15 degrees above normal.

As temperatures stay above average, moisture will filter in from the south. This moisture will interact with the passing cold fronts and bring rain chances to the area Thursday. Rain showers and possibly thunderstorms enter the forecast for Sunday.
