Haith suspends Dixon and freshman guard indefinitely

Missouri basketball head coach Frank Haith announced this afternoon that he has suspended Senior guard Michael Dixon and Freshman guard Dominique Bull for violation of team rules.  Both players will miss Monday's exhibition opener against Northwest Missouri State and no time table has been given for their return to the team.

Dixon, was the sixth man on last year's team, and averaged 13.5 points per game.  This season, Dixon was projected as a starter and was also named to the preseason All-Southeastern Conference second team. 

Missouri plays two exhbition games before opening the season at home against Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville on November 10.  The Tiger's toughest test of the season begins November 22 when they travel to the Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament that features Duke, Louisville, Memphis, Minnesota, Virginia Commonwealth, Stanford and Northern Iowa.
