The pigskin prize package has gotten even sweeter, now with a weekly jackpot of more than $100.

Up front, we must thank Kurt Schlueter at the Jefferson City Sub Shop, who's been on board since the start of Pigskin Picks. The winner still gets a free foot-long from the Sub Shop, which has the best subs in town, along with a bag of chips and a large drink.

Now, we're adding these weekly prizes: Two value meals from McDonald's, 1425 Mo. Blvd. (courtesy of Steve Ruprecht), a $10 gift certificate to J.Pfenny's (thanks to Dan Pfenenger) and a free service call, a $70 value, from Jefferson City Appliance Service (Gray Birdsong can fix anything except the Titanic).

1. Each week, I will predict the outcome of games involving area high school teams, Missouri, the Chiefs, Rams, the Sunday night NFL game, and perhaps one or two other NFL match-ups.
 
2. You pick the WINNERS of these games and the final score of the Sunday night game --- this is the tiebreaker. Points are NOT necessary for the other games. If it's still tied, a coin flip will decide the winner.

3. You are not be competing against me, you're competing against each other.
 
4. The champ will be announced on Pigskin Picks the following week. Send your picks to tloeffler@krcg.com prior to the 7 p.m. Friday deadline. Last week's winner was Beth Bauer.
