Three convicted felons out on parole have been arrested in Maries County after they were found with drugs, guns and ammunition during a traffic stop Thursday. Deputies stopped the vehicle on Highway 63, just north of Vienna, and found what they suspected to be heroin, methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia, as well as a firearm, which authorities reffered to as an assault rifle, and several rounds of ammunition. One of the three, 45-year-old Christopher Harris of Dixon, also had a concealed weapon. Harris was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon, a class D felony, and unlawful possession of a firearm, a class C felony. The other two – 28-year-old Christofer Howe and 29-year-old Jessica Dumas, both of Dixon – were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony. All three are in the Maries County Jail, each on a $50,000 bond.
