ICOLUMBIA, Mo. -- t's the last night of the 2012, but some folks in downtown Columbia already consider it the first night of 2013.
"It's for the kids and adults,” said Tom Master, a volunteer with First Night Columbia. “They put this on every year on New Year's eve night downtown Columbia.”
It had something for everyone, young and old...
"The young kids really get excited when the hula-hoops come in here," said Masters.
The hoop acrobatics, courtesy of the hula-hooligans are a big draw, but so are the bones...
"My premier instrument, and will have the chance to be playing my bones this evening, are the bones,” said Spike Bones, a musician at First Night. “Now, these are made out of wood, but they're shaped like a rib-bone. I call them vegetarian bones."
Yes, it's a grand way to end 2012, and wonderful celebration of the year to come.
