FOUND: Pulaski County inmate on the loose

UPDATE:
This morning At 9:47a.m. Brandon Kelley Monell was taken into custody by Pulaski County Sheriff's deputies at a residence south of Crocker.
At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the escape from the Dixon City jail and robbery at 18775 Burlington Road in Crocker are continuing.
Joseph Esparza also escaped the jail but was found lastnight and taken into custody.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's office is looking for an inmate on the loose this morning.
At 2:34am, the Sheriff's Office got word that a pair of county inmates had escaped from the Dixon jail.
Just shy of thirty minutes later the Pulaski County 911 Center advised the Sheriff's Office that a robbery had just occurred at 18775 Burlington Road in the Crocker area.
Deputies responded to the scene and the witnesses identified the suspects as those matching the description of the escaped inmates.
By 3:25am a Pulaski County deputy had one suspect located in an abandoned house and shortly after he was in custody. The second subject was last seen running back toward Dixon.
Follow up investigation at the Dixon City Jail indicated that the two suspects had escaped from the building at 11:18pm lastnight with the help of a a third inmate who distracted the on duty dispatcher.
At this time, Brandon Kelley Monell, age 23, from the Crocker area is still at large. Monell was being held on a charge of statutory rape. Monell is a white male, 5' 11, 150 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
