Two restaurants in the Columbia Mall food court were closed Monday.  Genalee Alexander with the Boone County Health Department confirms the move is rare but is the result of multiple critical violations.

The restaurants affected were Famous Cajun Grill and Stir Fry 88.

The restaurants will be re-inspected at some point and could re-open if they fix the violations.
