Columbia police arrested man for allegedly turning his son's bedroom into a marijuana growing operation.

Authorities arrested Danny Hunt at his home in the 5700 block of Canaveral Drive.

Hunt faces several drug charges including distribution, delivery, manufacturing and producing a controlled substance.

Investigators made the arrest after receiving an anonymous tip about child abuse and neglect.

Authorities say Hunt admitted he moved his 12-year-old son into his garage so he could grow marijuana.

Hunt posted bond.
