Fire caused an estimated $60,000 in damage to a house in the 200-block of Addison Street in Fulton Monday night.

Occupants of the house were able to get out safely.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze within 30 minutes.

They said the occupants were grilling on the deck earlier in the night and embers fell below the deck igniting stored building materials under the deck.
