Saturday afternoon the highway patrol says 31-year-old David Turner was driving an ATV when he ran off of the right side of Bowen Cemetery road and hit a fence in Gasconade county.

Investigators say Turner wasn't wearing a safety device and was thrown from the ATV.

He was flown to Mercy hospital in St. Louis.
