Fire destroys home of Meta resident

A mid-Missouri resident is homeless after a fire destroyed his home yesterday.
It happened in the 200-block of South Bertha in Meta.
The American Red Cross Heart of Missouri chapter is helping the Meta resident.
Volunteers are providing the individual with emergency needs like clothing and food.
