PEAK WATER USE ALERT

PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT NO. 1 and NO. 2 OF COLE COUNTY IS ASKING CUSTOMERS TO CONSERVE WATER DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Increased demand coupled with drought conditions are causing challenges to water reserves and water pressure in our systems.

We are asking customers to cut back on ALL UNNECESSARY WATER USAGE until further notice. You may water on the alternate day schedule, based on your house address, during the hours of 12AM to 5AM.

If your house address ends in an even number (2, 4, 6, 8, 0) you may water on even numbered days of the month but only during the hours of 12AM to 5AM.

If your house address ends in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) you may water on odd numbered days of the month but only during the hours of 12AM to 5AM.

These water restrictions for Cole County Public Water Supply District No 1 and No 2 customers will be lifted when the extreme drought and heat have drastically improved.
