Two men were arrested in Callaway County at about 6:00 a.m. on Saturday after one of the men allegedly assaulted a sheriff’s deputy.

Authorities arrested William and Ryan Kirk.

While a deputy was dealing with the arrest of Ryan Kirk, William Kirk allegedly resisted arrest and assaulted another deputy.

William Kirk was arrested for a weapons violation.

Ryan Kirk faces charges of interfering with an arrest and assault.

Both men were released from the Callaway County Jail after posting bond.
