A semi truck driver was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after it seems he lost control.

It happened at 2:15 a.m. in Boone County on Interstate 70 at the 136.2 mile marker.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said William Dunn, 39, was driving westbound when he went off of the left side, through the median cables and onto the eastbound median.

Then, he went through the median cables, slid across the westbound lanes and came to a rest partially on the roadway.

Dunn was taken to University Hospital with moderate injuries.
