A Jefferson City woman was sentenced Monday to federal prison for six different bank robberies across the state.

38-year-old Dwashan T. Thompson was sentenced to seven years and three months in federal prison without parole. The court also ordered Thompson to pay $57,794 in restitution.

Thompson admitted she stole from six different banks: Missouri Credit Union in Jefferson City in December 2010, Hawthorn Bank in Jefferson City in December 2010, Martinsburg Bank and Trust in Montgomery City in December 2009, Truman Bank in St. Peters in February 2010, First National Bank in Weldon Springs in July 2010 and St. Johns Bank and Trust in St. Charles in September 2010.

In each robbery, Thompson wore a black ski mask and demanded money from the tellers.
