An Indiana man was arrested Sunday for burglary in Boone County.

A resident in the 1600 block of North Route J called the sheriff's department after his dog alerted him that someone was near one of his buildings on his property.

When deputies got there, they found, 31-year-old Joshua Combs of Anderson, Indiana.

Deputies said Combs forced his way into the building and stole several items.

He was arrested for second-degree burglary, property damage, stealing, and assault in the third degree.
