Update:
The Pettis County prosecutor has charged 45-year-old Lenford Buckner with robbery and armed criminal action. Officials say Buckner dropped his sunglasses and jacket. Those items helped to lead them to Buckner's place of employment, a Tyson Chicken operation in northeast Pettis County.
Original Story:
One man is in custody accused of holding up a bank in Sedalia.
Monday morning at 10:00, police said the man walked into the U.S. Bank at Fourth and Osage and told the teller he had a gun. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money.
Physical evidence at the scene led officials to find the man about four hours later at his work place in Pettis County.
No charges have been filed against the man yet.
