Damien Bryan's jury trial delayed

The jury trial for the man accused in a fatal Cole County car accident has been pushed back once again.

Damien Bryan is charged with two counts of 2nd degree murder and one count of DWI aggravated offender.

Bryan is currently in jail because he owes money for the electric monitoring system that he must wear.

Once the amount due is collected, the judge is expected to reinstate his bond.

Last august, police say Bryan caused an accident on Rumsey lane when he crossed route c.

A Kansas woman and a Russellville man were killed.

The jury trial is now set for September.

Damien Bryan's pre-trial was rescheduled for June 6 with his jury trial scheduled to start the next day, June 7.

The pretrial conference for the driver police said caused a double fatal accident in Cole County was pushed back Wednesday.

Damien Bryan is charged with two counts of 2nd degree murder and one count of DWI aggravated offender.

Police said on August 31st, Bryan caused a car accident on Rumsey Lane when he tried to drive across Route C.

A Kansas woman and a Russellville man were killed as a result of that crash.

Bryan's jury trial was scheduled to start on Monday, March 12.
