(AP) -- Police in St. Louis County believe they have captured the serial bank robber dubbed the "Logo Bandit."
Authorities said Wednesday that 35-year-old Bryon Gullion of Mexico, Mo., has been arrested in the Jan. 17 robbery of the Jefferson Bank and Trust in Affton. Gullion is jailed on $50,000 cash-only bond and does not yet have an attorney.
St. Louis County police spokesman Rick Eckhard says Gullion is expected to face charges for several additional bank robberies in the St. Louis area.
The "Logo Bandit" earned the nickname because he wore clothing bearing athletic apparel logos. In addition to the robbery in Affton, the same man was suspected in bank robberies in Warson Woods, Kirkwood, Des Peres, Crestwood and two in Clayton.
