A Columbia man is arrested after a disturbance in the southwest area of the city.

Boone County deputies responded around 11:30 Monday evening to the 4300 block of Ludwick Boulevard.

Deputies say 6 adults were in the apartment, one had a knife wound to his arm.

They say a verbal argument escalated, and one man grabbed a box cutter and attacked another adult.

Officers arrested 43-year-old Michael L. Stanley on suspicion of domestic assault and armed criminal action. His bond has not been set.
