Columbia Police are looking for the man who robbed a Columbia store Wednesday night.

Police were dispatched around 8:30 p.m. to the Dollar General Store at 3700 Monterey for an armed robbery in progress.

Police said a man entered the business and confronted the manager. He implied he had a weapon, but no weapon was seen.

The intruder stole an undetermined amount of cash from the business and fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

No arrests have been made at this time. A K-9 track was unsuccessful to locate the man.

Police said the person they are looking for is a black male in his early 20's, 5'8, 160 lbs, with a slender build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black bandanna and black jeans.
