Overnight car break-ins, no arrest made

Jefferson City Police say another round of cars were broken into early Monday morning.
Overnight, officers responded to a call regarding thefts and tampering with vehicles in the south-east part of the city.
The caller said a 15-16 year old male was going through vehicles in the 1300 block of Isom Drive around 2:40 a.m.
The caller chased the suspect. The suspect dropped the stolen items as he was running, and he was able to escape.
Jefferson City Police Officers checked all the vehicles in the area and found 8 that had been entered and gone through.
No suspects were found in the area upon an officer’s arrival.
On August 4th, Jefferson City police arrested two juveniles for stealing items from about three dozen parked cars.
