JEFFERSON CITY, MO. (AP) -- The Missouri Department of Revenue is urging young adults to renew their driver's licenses and license plates around the holidays.

Missouri has an estimated 367,000 licensed drivers who are 21 and younger.

The Revenue Department says licenses and license plates frequently expire when their owners are about 18 or 21 years old. Officials say that when Missourians in college or the military return home for the holidays, it is a good idea to renew.
