BRANSON, Mo. (AP) -- A 29-year-old Ozark man has been accused of bringing a loaded weapon and a backpack full of ammunition into a Walmart store on Black Friday.
Tyrel Lee Campbell has been charged in Stone County with unlawful use of a weapon and drug possession. Online court records did not list a lawyer for Campbell.
He's accused of walking into a Branson Walmart the day after Thanksgiving. In addition to the loaded .22-caliber gun and 560 bullets, prosecutors also said he had a bag of suspected meth.
He was arrested by police who were at the store working crowd patrol. The Springfield News-Leader reported that police were alerted to Campbell after he allegedly pointed the gun at a woman.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 21.
