4 fatal traffic crashes investigated over weekend

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- Four traffic fatalities were investigated over the Thanksgiving weekend said the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The Thanksgiving reporting period was from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Two of the fatal crashes were in the Springfield area. The other two fatalities were in the Macon area and Jefferson City area.

Troopers also investigated 364 traffic crashes, which included 114 injuries.

Troopers also arrested 144 people for driving while intoxicated.
