JEFFERSON CITY, MO -- Missourians now have a way to track sex offenders living or working in their area.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol launched the email notification system Friday.

There are two different types of alerts Missourians can get. You can track sex offenders by area. You’re allowed to enter five physical addresses to track. Missourians also can track a specific offender.
