JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Two high-profile murder cases that could go to trial next year have prompted central Missouri court officials to seek a larger budget.
Cole County Circuit Judge Pat Joyce says most of the court's expenses are for juries and security.
The two high-profile murder trials are for 16-year-old Alyssa Bustamante and 56-year-old David Hosier.
Bustamante is charged as an adult for the killing last year of Elizabeth Olten.
Hosier is charged with the killing of Angela Gilpin and Rodney Gilpin in a Jefferson City apartment complex.
