CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) -- Two southeast Missouri men are in custody after an attempted drug bust led to a chase through the streets of Cape Girardeau.

Police told the Southeast Missourian that officers on Tuesday attempted to pull over a truck because they suspected drugs were in it. The driver refused to stop and led police on a chase.

During the chase, police say the truck damaged a street sign and a drive-through window at a cleaners, then hit a parked car, knocking it into a second car.

No one was hurt. After wrecking his truck, police say the driver ran into a home where he was arrested.

Police say the second man, the suspect's brother, was arrested when he showed up at the scene carrying drugs.

Authorities say charges are pending.
