Public can listen in on Senate work sessions today

STATE CAPITAL -- The public can listen in on several Missouri Senate work sessions today.

Senators plan to examine the more than 1,500 suggestions from Missourians on how to solve the state's budget problems.

Lawmakers will meet in groups of four on issues including education, social programs and tax structure.

Three scheduled meeting begin at 9 a.m. this morning at the Capitol.

The House is expected to begin their own budget debate today.
