ROLLA -- A Missouri University of Science and Technology student has been found dead of an accidental overdose.

Rolla Police found the body of Nicholas T. Jarnagin, 23, from Maryville, Illinois inside an apartment in the 1800 Block of N. Cedar Street Friday at 1:30 p.m.

Investigators say Jarnagin had been suffering from depression and had been consuming prescription narcotic drugs throughout the night prior to his death. Police say there were no signs of foul play and no injuries or trauma to his body.

Jarnagin's death is being ruled accidental due to a probable overdose of prescription medications. Investigators are still waiting on toxicology results.
