DEXTER, Mo. (AP) -- A 26-year-old southeast Missouri man has won $200,000 a year for the rest of his life from the Missouri Lottery.

The Dexter Daily Statesman reported that Aaron Cantrell is a construction worker. He bought the $20 winning ticket at a convenience store last month in his hometown of Advance.

Cantrell considered for several weeks how he would take the payment. He could have taken a $3 million lump-sum payment, but opted for the annuity.

Cantrell doesn't plan to retire, but says he will buy a home.

The Scratchers game began in January 2009. The other two top-prize winners took the lump-sum payment.
