Columbia shoppers help Boys and Girls Club

COLUMBIA, MO. -- How much money can you raise by asking customers to round up their purchase amounts to the nearest dollar?
Many shoppers at Columbia’s JcPenney store did just that this holiday season, and in just 11 days, it's raised nearly $4,000 for the Columbia Boys and Girls Club.
JcPenney said it has a nationwide program to work with afterschool organizations,
Columbia Boys and Girls Club executive director Valorie Livingston said her organization is amazed and grateful.
In Columbia, the organization serves about 250 students each year and an average of about 85 students each day.
