COLUMBIA -- The governor and Columbia Mayor Darwin Hindman are among the speakers at the University of Missouri graduation ceremonies this weekend.

Nixon will speak Saturday at the college of agriculture, food and natural resources commencement.

Hindman is scheduled to deliver the school of natural resource's graduation speech.

Local education activist Eliot Battle will receive an honorary degree at the graduate school ceremony Friday.
